I did it!
Believe me, there were several times I thought about just not doing it. I probably won't be able to operate the MP3 player anyway. I really like to finish something I start and now that's it's done, I am glad I did.
To be perfectly honest, I will probably not use much of what I learned in 2.O. I am glad I know about it so when I hear someone talking about blogs, Facebook, etc., I'll have an idea of what they're talking about.
At some point in my life , I would like to start another blog to share photos and news with my family and friends.
My favorite was probably flickr , online image generator and online productivity. Hopefully I'll find some time to explore more on these.
For work, I would like to work with Rollyo to come up with a better way to search. We (my co-worker and I) think that's it's a possibility and hope we can figue it out.
Thanks to all the folks on the 2.O committee. It was not hard to see that it took a lot of your time to bring this to us.
YOU DID A GREAT JOB!

#22 Face -to Face Space: Social Net Working Communities
Although this is all very interesting, I really do not see it being useful to me in my job or socially. I'd much rather talk to people face to face. This type of connection keeps you inside too much. I enjoy the outdoors too much to be tied to a keyboard.

#21 Podcasts, Shmodcasts!
I WAS TOTALLY LOST ON THIS ONE. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DOWN LOAD AND WHAT YOU CAN'T?
#20 You too Ccan YouTube
I have not use YouTube much in the past. Our students have shown me a couple of interesting videos which is about my only experience. From the short time I was on the site, you can probably find a video on just about anything. I must have kept some of the information in 2.0 because I worked my way through putting the video on my blog without much trouble.
I found a site " What's Happening @ your library - December 2006". Something on this order might be helpful for us. We could even break it down into departments. What's new in...

#19 Discovering Web 2.0 tools
I looked around and even signed up for Backpack. I thought it looked like a good way to ge organized until I wanted to add the calendar and this was at least a $5 a month charge. I didn't think it was worth it. I'll keep looking around and kepp the information for future reference.

#18 WEB-BASED APPS
I looked around on Google Docs & Spreadsheets and found it will be very useful for some home projects that I have been wanted to create. Can't wait to have the time to do so.
Also, I started a calendar and taged it so I'll be able to review from anywhere. Hope this keeps me on time and less "oh, I forgot that"

#16 so what's in a wiki?
Hey folks, I am beginning to dog paddle here. Way too much information. I reviewed all examples and really wasn't comfortable navigating around. I have used Wikipedia in the past and found it most helpful. I won't give up. I am actually a pretty good swimmer.

#15 LIBRARY 2.O
All of these were very interesting reading and I feel very much the future.
I think "To more powerful ways to cooperate" could be a useful tool in my job. We have a lot of request with part or all of the citation being incorrect. With the release of a search box that will allow anyone with a Web browser to search all of WorldCat, no authentication required, should correct so of these.

# 13 del.icio.us
I've been putting this off all week. It's now or never...
I think this is a wonderful tool, but again, TIME. It seems to me, I will never have the time to set this up, let alone use it. I did get registered and added one site. Hopefully, I will be able to put it to use at some time. I added the options on my tool bar, which was quite simple, making it very easy to add my bookmarks. If and when the time does come, I'll be able to go back and review.

Discovery Exercise:
One that intrigues me is "CaptionBubble". I take a lot of pictures and think it would add to them by putting words to them.
Now Whitney, how do I do that?

TECHNOLOGY
I think technology is great and wonderful. I love the convenience and appreciate the organization that it can give you, I just have difficulity finding time to set things up and or play with it.

71/2 HABITS
As far as hard and easiest, I am not sure, but I think the most important one for me is # 3.
VIEW PROBLEMS AS CHALLENGES...
I am trying to change my way of thinking and look hard for the positive of all situations. With this in mind, it makes it easier to accomplish your goals. It is also more rewarding to accomplish a challenge than a problem.
